AUMI Dream Ensemble of Kansas curates first week of the Facebook site for IONE's 25th Annual Dream Festival, December 2-8, 2019

Thursday, December 5, 2019

The AUMI Dream Ensemble of Kansas is proud to curate week one of the Facebook site for IONE's 25th Annual Dream Festival, December 2-8, 2019. If you missed the premiere of Kip Haaheim's AUMI composition at the a2ru (Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities) conference at University of Kansas in November, here's another opportunity to experience the sounds and images of the planets in this suite. The AUMI project is part of the legacy of Pauline Oliveros (1932-2016), who developed this instrument in order to help to "expand the improvising community" across all abilities. IONE's Dream Festival is dedicated to celebrating, sharing, and listening to dreams and dream-states.
